Last night I went to a Mom’s Night Out for the playgroup I’m a part of. We had a blast - great conversation, great (and some not-so-great) drinks, great “girl time”. But it was what happened beforehand that affected me the most.

Homemade baby gates
Here are the pics of the baby gates that J made. I admit I was a bit skeptical at first, but they’re working out great! For a design, I was thinking of Little J’s handprints. After all, he’s always beating on them!

It’s only 9:30 pm and I’m wiped. J has already gone to bed. I was about to turn off the computer and head up myself, when I realized I had to write today’s blog. This blog-a-day thing is tough. Sorry folks, I don’t have the energy or mindset tonight to write anything interesting. Thank goodness the weekend is almost here. We have plans this weekend so I hope the weather cooperates.
Man I’m tired. I was pretty out of it today, but luckily Lil’ J was good as gold. He’s such a happy, silly little boy. He’s definitely a walker now, he toddles everywhere, almost more than he crawls. Time to get him some shoes!
