’tis the season…
So we’re out and about on Saturday when J gets a call to go into work. It’s supposed to storm that night and they need to take the boats out of the water. So we go over there, and Little J and I hang out inside while J and 3 other guys get underway and take the boat to the boat ramp, which is about 10 minutes away.

I haven’t blogged in a while! Here’s a little bit about what’s been happening around here:

Better get my list organized
1. I do the grocery shopping every Saturday morning. It’s usually busy, no matter what time I go.
2. The commissary case lot sale is this weekend.
3. Yesterday was payday.
Yeah…grocery shopping should be fun tomorrow.
hmmph.
“All active duty personnel” means “ALL active duty personnel”, not “All active duty personnel except the Coast Guard.” Ugh. Why is the CG always forgotten about? How hard is it to add the letters D-o-D?? “All DoD active duty personnel.” There ya go.
I can’t believe this still bothers me two days later. J doesn’t even care, and he’s the one in the Coast Guard.

Um…yeah. So much for keeping up with a blog.
So a new year is upon us. Other Half and I spent January 1st hungover, sadly. We had wanted to DO SOMETHING! on the first day of 2008, but our bodies had other ideas. Thankfully, Joober cooperated and not only slept in with us, but took a looooong nap with us too.
It looks like there’ll be some changes coming up. Other Half is going in a different direction, career-wise. We’ve had some long talks about it, and as nervous as I am, who am I to stop him from going for what he wants? I’m excited for him too, but what a change. Cross your fingers for us.
